Celebrity Cruises sits in the premium segment as the self-styled 'modern luxury' line, pairing upscale, design-forward ships with fine dining, a high staff-to-guest ratio and an adult-oriented (but not adults-only) atmosphere. It aims to feel more sophisticated and boutique than mass-market megaships without charging true ultra-luxury prices.
