Best Time to Visit Mauritius

Indian Ocean · Month-by-month weather, seasons and what to do — from Noura's Destination Finder.

Noura's timing tip: The austral cyclone season runs mid-November through May, with the strongest storms most likely January-March, so track alerts and consider travel insurance. From June-September the windward southeast coast turns cool and blustery (great for kitesurfers at Le Morne, less so for calm swimming), while the sheltered north and west stay milder.
