River cruise line · 3 ships · sailing 1 regions — All-suite, butler-served river cruising on the former Crystal fleet.
Riverside Luxury Cruises is an ultra-luxury river brand launched in 2022 by the Riverside/Seaside (Seaster) Hotel Collection, built entirely on the acquired former Crystal River fleet. It is all-suite, all-inclusive and butler-served, positioned as the river equivalent of Silversea or Regent Seven Seas.
Best for affluent travellers who want the most spacious, service-intensive river product — all-suite accommodation, personal butlers and a near one-to-one crew ratio. It is not a budget or high-energy option, and not aimed at families.
Four ex-Crystal ships: the wide-beam Danube flagship Riverside Mozart plus the near-identical 'river yacht' trio Riverside Debussy, Riverside Ravel and Riverside Mahler. They sail the Danube, Rhine, Main, Moselle and Rhone. All are all-suite with butler service; the Mozart carries around 160 guests while the yachts carry about 106 each.
The standout vessels in the fleet — and the amenities that set them apart.
Wide-beam ex-Crystal Mozart, relaunched by Riverside in 2023; one of the widest, most spacious river ships afloat ('Queen of the Danube')
2018-built ex-Crystal Debussy; among the first Riverside yachts, debuting spring 2023
Sister river yacht to Debussy (ex-Crystal Ravel); Riverside debut in spring 2023
Multiple restaurants — four on the larger ships — spanning an elegant main dining room, a casual bistro and specialty venues, with all dining included and open, unhurried seating.
Intimate and enrichment-led: resident pianist and live music in the lounges, plus destination talks, rather than large-scale shows.
An adults-focused ultra-luxury product with no children's programme.
Fully all-inclusive luxury: all-suite accommodation, butler service, all dining, premium beverages, Wi-Fi, gratuities and shore excursions.
